Favorite Things: Chewbeads

I recently discovered the coolest thing...Chewbeads

As the website says, it is "nontoxic jewelry for moms, safe for baby to tug, touch, and chew." The beads are made out of silicone just like pacifiers and bottle nipples, and they sell both necklaces and bracelets in a variety of colors and styles. They are BPA-free, dishwasher-safe, and have a breakaway clasp.

It is definitely one of those things that makes you think "why on earth didn't I think of this first?"!

I got one in pink...and I need a couple more colors...are you listening, Santa? I love that I can even wear it to work. (I know it seems weird that I am wearing a sweater in the middle of August...but it is freaking freezing in my office.)

It is also Ava-approved :).

Definitely keep these in mind for upcoming baby shower gifts.

About Me

My name is Catherine, but most of my friends call me Cat. I was born and raised in Austin, went to TCU, and ended up in Dallas for law school (where Josh and I met). I decided that being an attorney was not my cup of tea and pursued a career in legal marketing instead. I am now a mother of two attempting to balance family with a full-time job, which is always an adventure. I love: my sweet babies, handsome husband, very large family, and fabulous friends; trying new restaurants; wine; TCU football; holidays; cooking; The Bar Method; pajamas; La Croix; reading; coffee; podcasts; Central Market; carbs; the beach; mani/pedis; Anthropologie; binge-worthy TV shows; trivia; French 75s; Pinterest; cheese boards; The Ticket; dancing; Sprinkles cupcakes; The Texas Rangers; fresh flowers; thunderstorms; naps; Tex-Mex; the Texas Hill Country; porch-sitting; ranch dressing; throwing parties; and my job. I hate: working-mom guilt; snakes; heights; waking up early; ignorant people; stomach bugs; paper cuts; green fruit; snoring; bad hair days; the sound of people eating (Misophonia); scary movies; bad drivers; pulpy OJ; trimming baby fingernails; and Miracle Whip. I think that about sums it up.
